The Men’s Health Research program is currently recruiting participants for a new study to learn about supporting men who have experienced or are experiencing relationship breakdown (i.e., divorce, separation or break up). The project is titled Men Building Better Relationships and is being conducted by Dr. John Oliffe at the University of British Columbia.

  • Have you experienced a relationship breakdown?

The study is open to men living in Australia or Canada who have experienced a relationship breakdown and handled it on their own, or who accessed services (i.e., counselling, workshops, other resources) to support them through the change.

  • Do you or have you provided services to help men before, during, and/or after a relationship breakdown?

The study is open to service providers in Australia or Canada who help men before, during and/or after a relationship breakdown.

All participation involves a one-hour individual interview conducted over Zoom. Privacy, anonymity, and confidentiality are assured.

Participants will be provided a $100 e-gift card honorarium.

Email the study research assistant, Gabriela Montaner (gabriela.montaner@ubc.ca), to participate.
