Kevin is a graduate of the UBC Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner program in 2017. Having worked as a registered nurse since 2009 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Downtown Vancouver, he has developed an interest in mental health, recognizing that there are many vulnerable and yet underserved individuals with mental illnesses. During his training as a family nurse practitioner at UBC, he grew a focus on men’s mental health related to gaming addiction. Under the supervision of Dr. John Oliffe, he completed his graduating paper on Internet Gaming Addiction, presented at the 2017 GSNA Research Symposium at UBC, and published a paper in the American Journal of Men’s Health.
